Spain is located at the border of Europe and Africa. It is a charming country with a long history and culture. Art and literature blossom wildly and beautifully on this land of enthusiasm.

From El Greco to Picasso, from Gaudi to Dali, Spain gave birth to many famous artists whose national identity and specificity emerge strongly from their works. These artists' exaggerated, dream-like surrealist style not only determined a crucial turning point in modern art, but it also shaped an unique Spanish aesthetic.

Doñana National Park is located in the South of Spain and it is listed as a World Natural Heritage by the United Nations. Archeologists believe that under the sand there are ruins of an ancient city. For hundreds of years, experts have investigated this legendary civilization fostering a utopian vision about this ancient city. However, archeological traces have been wiped away by the layers of sand over the years. Several fishermen chose to settle down in this area where they can face the sea, away from the hustle and bustle of urban civilization, living a simple and primitive life. However, this lifestyle also makes them face the risk of having their houses covered with sand over the years. Director Manuel Muñoz Rivas continues to explore the possibilities of documentary, using the camera to highlight the sensitive and poetic character of reality. The film was selected to participate to Berlin Film Festival Forum Unit. Let’s step into the Doñana National Park , to get a glimpse of a typically Spanish micro society.
